THE STATUE OF UNITY
The Statue Of Unity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875-1950) in the state of Gujarat, India. It is the world tallest statue with a height of 182 metres (597 ft).

The statue depicts Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ,one of the most prominent leaders of the Indian independence movement ,the first deputy priem minister of India,and responsible for the unification of hundreds of princely states to form the modern political boundry of India.

Narendra Modi first announced the project the statue of unity on 7 october 2010 at a press conference to mark the begining of his 10th year as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. A special purpose vehicle named the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust (SVPRET) was constituted by the government of Gujarat for executing the project.It was inaugrated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31 october 2018,the 143 anniversary of Vallabhbhai
Patel.

2). Name of the statue “The Statue Of Unity”

As Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ,well known for the unification of hundreds of princely state and formed the modern political boundry of India.

3). Unity of about 5,00,000 farmer gave their metal farming instrument for the construction of the statue and gather about 5,00,000 tones of bronze and iron.

4). Suraj Prathna Patra

It happened for the first time in which public adviced for the betterment of parliament. It is surprising to know that 2 crore of public signatured in Suraj Prarthna Patra

5). Run For Unity

A marathon entitled Run For Unity was held on 15 december 2013 in Surat and lots of public participated in that marathon.

6). The height of the statue

The height of the statue is constructed 182 metres because there are 182 seats in Gujarat Vidhan Sabha.

7). Observation Desk View Point

The observation desk view point is about 500 ft above the water level there, it is made near the chest of the statue . The visitors reach there by the help of lift having capacity of about 200 people. The visitors can enjoy the view of narmada river and the beauty of nature from the observation desk view point.

8). Investment

In 2013 Indian Government made a budget of about 3001 crores, which was accepted by LARSEN & TOURBO company in 2989 crores.

LARSEN & TOURBO Company constructed the statue with the help of Tournal Company which is famous for its high statue construction work namely Burj Khalifa statue.

9). Desgine

The desgine is given by the most respected person honoured by Padmabhushan namely Ram Veer Sutar. The statue is made by the full dedication of about 4500 worker.

10). The structure

The base of the statue is 3 floor monuments in which Memorial Garden, Museum, the object related to the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is kept. The statue is established in about 20,000 sq.metre and is circled by a 12 km long pond in wich the visitors are given with boat facility and they can reach to the statue in 5 minutes.

A Shresth Bharat Bhawan is provided in this project, where all the 3star facility is provided.

Public plaza – for the facility of tourist is provided.

Research centre, Institute, Amuzementpark, Conviction centre, all the importent facility are provided.

Totly the statue of unity is desgined in a way that the tourists can come all the year and increase the Indian economical income.

The statue of unity is desgined in a way that, it can bear about 60 m/sec air , Earthquake and Vibration.

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 at the pilgrimage center of Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, in a Tamil Muslim family. His father, Jainulabudeen, was a boat owner, and his mother, Ashiamma, was a housewife. Kalam was the youngest of their 5 children.

                                         India is in mourning as it has lost one of its most dedicated sons and a highly qualified statesman on the evening of Monday, July 27. APJ Abdul Kalam has left behind him a legacy of self-confidence and determination that, despite its shortcomings and ailing poverty, India can stand up face-to-face with the rest of world powers, be it in the terms of development, science and technology, education or any other field.

He died doing what he had been doing throughout his career — sharing knowledge. A man of astute scientific knowledge who spent most of his life at India's civilian space program and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Kalam will be remembered for his simplicity, humility and inspiring words.  

Sworn in on 25 July, 2002, Kalam became 11th President of India, succeeding KR Narayanan. For his simple and humble attitude, he was affectionately known as the 'People's President.'Known as the People’s President-  A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is undoubtedly the most inspiring figure to the people of India. This youth icon is also popularly known as the Missile Man because of his countless contributions- the development of India’s first Satellite Launch Vehicle, SLV-III, which put the Rohini Satellite in the near earth orbit in July 1980, making India a member of the Space Club, and much more. 1).Born To A Poor Boatowner

Born on 15 October, 1931, in a Tamil Muslim family to a boat owner, Jainulabudeen, and Ashiamma, a housewife, in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, Kalam's childhood was not easy and privileged.

Throughout his life, he led a simple life even after reaching to the highest post in the country. In fact, he is considered the symbol of simplicity in India. He came to the Rashtrapati Bhavan with a suitcase and left with the same.

He dedicated every single minute of his life serving the country which is justified by the fact that even few minuted before his demise on 27 July 2015, he was delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong.
